How to Request Data Deletion

If you have connected your Instagram account to Closr and would like to request deletion of your data, you have the following options:

Option 1 — Email Request

Send an email to hello@tryclosr.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include your Instagram username and the email address associated with your Closr account. We will delete your data within 90 days and confirm via email.

Option 2 — In-App Deletion

If you have an active Closr account, you can request account deletion directly from your account settings. This will remove all your data from our systems within 90 days.

Option 3 — Facebook Settings

You can also remove Closr's access to your Facebook/Instagram data directly through Facebook Settings: Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites → Find Closr → Remove Access.

Note:This immediately revokes Closr's access to your Instagram account, but does not delete data already collected. All collected data will be automatically deleted within 90 days of access revocation, in compliance with Meta's Platform Policy. To request immediate deletion, please use Option 1 or 2 above.

What Data We Delete

Upon confirmed deletion, we remove the following:

  • Your Instagram account connection and tokens
  • All messages and conversation history
  • Lead profiles associated with your account
  • Organization and team data
  • All account settings and preferences

After deletion is confirmed, your data cannot be recovered.
